Another Trip Update

A few more from London and from today. Brooks and Erin LOVED the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain. Very hands on and fun!Daddy likes to wet Erin's hair for crazy hair!! The challenge was keeping her feet on the ground rather than trying to climb in for a proper soaking :0)
Here's Portobello Road where we wondered into wonderful antique shops-we spent the most time in the map shop and in the new goods section at the hand-made leather book shop.
Here we are this morning at a lovely cafe at the foot of the Acropolis. Not a shabby view. Blayne is enjoying his iced freddo (a local coffee delicacy :0) A woman stopped and asked to take a picture of Erin. White haired babies aren't common around here apparently.Erin enjoying the Acropolis.
The Parthenon (undergoing improvements to fix it from the previous improvements)
Another temple on the Acropolis
Erin (pre-nap) at the Theater of Dionysis. The stage of early Greek drama. Very exciting for a former theater geek like me :0)
Tomorrow we're off on "The Flying Dolphin" to tour the island of Hydra. Having such fun with Elli here! We'll have a sitter and are going out tonight! Yeah!

Pics of April California Trip

This is from a trip weeks ago!! We leave tomorrow for Europe and I've been meaning to post these for AGES....So, here goes. Sorry for the lack of details, but captions are all I got right now ;0)

On our way home from the airport, we were able to stop and see Blayne's second cousin, Logan who was visiting the area from FL. Here we are kickin' it in the food court. (Blayne sporting one of his favorite foods)

That corndog in the pic above is not an ordinary corndog. Oh, no- it's a hot dog on a stick. And so here's Blayne at one of his favorite places on the planet posing with Erin-hoping to share with her his passion for the hand-dipped in batter, fried goodness.

Here's Erin and I playing on the plane at the Lake Riverside playground.

Here's Mom and Erin at the playground with the lake behind. The days were beautiful! Lots of walks around the lake for us! :0)

Since our loft living life leaves us without a yard, I was a little afraid I'd have a girly-girl scared of dirt, but Erin allayed my fears and one of her favorite activites was playing in the rocks (and I tried to keep them out of her mouth).

Two houses over live Sue and Bud. They have a daughter not too far from my age who has a little girl only 5 weeks younger than Erin. (get all that?) Here's Erin and Lily enjoying a wagon ride! :0)

Here's Erin with her mom (me ;0) and Lily with her mom, Becky.

Mom and I took Erin to the zoo while the guys were hard at work in the hanger.

Erin loved the noisy, colorful flamingos and the peacock too!

This sheeps a bit bedraggled looking, but he was friendly enough. Erin enjoyed the petting zoo and going through the monkey section saying "Ah, Ah, Ah" (that's what a monkey says, by the way)

Somehow dad escaped all these pics... but I know we have some with him feeding Erin her first In n Out Burger Fries (glory days). I'll have to find them when we get back. We're gone for three weeks-Ireland, London, Athens, & Germany. (I know, poor us! ;0) All our best to all of you!
