Mom (that's Jane from CA) came out to visit for a long weekend to come to a shower the women of the church gave me and to play with Erin. She and Blayne survived a day of skiing the whole day after she arrived late at night. I'd have pics of that but I dropped our small digital camera that had the pics on it at an egg hunt this past weekend and someone decided they'd pick it up and keep it. ARGH! So, the only pics of their ski day are gone unless someone decides to turn it in.
But , of course, Mom took lots of pics when she was here, so here's some choice ones. Since we live in a loft and have no yard we spend lots of time here-at the playground at a park 2 blocks away. Erin loves to swing on that bar (she's only recently gotten brave enough to lift up her feet :0) and then go down the slide.
Erin gets some very awesome bed-head hair. Here it looks sort of like a halo :0)
Helping Daddy make the pancakes... Yummy!
Bouncing on the couch with Mommy.
Playing with blocks with Grandmother is fun! Time for kisses!
Here's Erin and I after church. This is a front view of my belly while carrying Erin-a common sight. She does walk around too-but usually wants to "hold my mommy" after church.
After church on Sunday there was a wonderful shower that Natalie coordinated. Everyone brought really yummy food. I was glad to get the line started. I love food :0)
Since we STILL have not decided on a name Natalie was kind enough to come up with some possibilities that would give him the same initials as his Dad- ABC. How 'bout Argyle Barrach? Um, maybe not.For those of you who have wanted belly pics-Here we are at 33 1/2 weeks. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and counting down!!!
Darcy didn't want to be left out of this shot :0) We still love you Darcy-that Erin gets all the attention (for now! :0) At least we get out and walk alot with Darcy. And hopefully we'll get some lowkey hiking in the summer. Erin's first hike was before she was 3 weeks so we've got to get "what's his name" out and about too in his first few weeks.
I'd love to hear what's going on it your worlds! Recently 4 of our good friends from Ireland got engaged (2 of the couples unbeknownst to each other on the same night!) - 2 to each other and the other 2 to amazing guys they've met since moving back home. And last fall Pat & Sarah (who also met in Ireland) tied the knot. Lots of celebrating going on right now! And soon we'll celebrate meeting (and hopefully naming ;0) our new little one. All the best to all of you!
