12 Weeks Old
Well, Erin's almost 3 months old now. It's hard to believe. Here's the last month or so in pics and video. Erin took her first plane ride as we headed to Georgia for Blayne's Aunt Joan's funeral.
Here's lots of the family at the best BBQ place in the world, according to Blayne. It was so good to be with everyone and have them meet Erin, but so strange that Joan wasn't there too. She's being deeply missed! Erin's cousins Langdon, Logan and Cameron were lots of help and really enjoyed hanging out with her.
Back in Greeley we celebrated Eric's bday on Cinco de Mayo at a local BBQ place and here's the gang after STUFFING ourselves with lots of ribs, brisket, and chicken. Of course, we still left room for cake and cookies :0)
Erin took her fourth hike this past Friday and her first summit...Mt. Sanitas in Boulder, CO. It was a HOT day and a very sunny trail, but thankfully there was lots of cloud cover.
This is a dark picture, but we had to get a shot of her with her bandanna for the hike. I forgot her sun hat and this was a workable solution from the back of Jen's car (its a petsmart one ;0).
Here's Erin and I on my first Mother's Day. After church we went to a yummy Vietnamese restaurant that we love then I had a wonderful nap followed by a great game of ultimate frisbee. Then I was home for a bit-when this pic was taken-playing with Erin. When I got home from youth group (Sunday's a busy day for us :0) I found my house had been cleaned by Jen and Kathy (maybe Eric and Blayne helped too). Then we went to a new pub in town for dessert. It was a lovely day!
Here's a video taken just a couple of nights ago of Blayne and Erin playing. Turn up your volume, she's talking (well, making noises at least).
I hope you're all doing well. I'm more rested and trying to get caught up. We might get a birth announcement out one of these days. Maybe. No promises :0) The weather is beautiful here and when I have time I try to get out with Darcy and Erin.
Erin and I are off to Nashville this weekend for time with Sarah Catherine and Kat (and SC's little guy, Brooks and the Brooks family). I am so looking forward to it! And right when we get back two Ireland friends are coming to visit. YEAH!! I have a feeling the summer is going to fly... Take care!

Yeah, I love updates! The pictures are adorable and the video is so cute! I can't believe how big she is getting...it's only been a month!
I'm so glad everyone celebrated you and that you enjoyed a wonderful 1st mothers day. All of your favorite things in one day and a sweet little princess that brought all that pampering...how wonderful! =)
love you!
i'd love to take all the credit for the cleaning, but eric and blayne did help.
happy mother's day :)
Okay, you have to update. That baby is not 12 weeks old anymore :) Thanks for the comments. All is going well here at St. Jude. She is getting excellent care, and her doctor is one of the fore-runners in radiation oncology, esp. in the area of ependymomas (like Ivee's). We've meet four other patients here that have the same type of cancer. She is doing so well for a baby who's been through so much. Hopefully we'll be home by the time you come to AL. Hopefully we can hook up. Can't wait to see Erin. Gotta go, someones through a big one right now. Love HOpe
