Happy New Year!
I know it's been a while so here's a picture summary. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are having a great start to the new year! Here's Erin (held by Jen) at Cecliy's birthday party. The cutie on the left is Audrey being held by her dad, Lane.
Here's a snowy day out on the roof - Darcy loves the snow and hopefully Erin can enjoy it next year. :0)
We had a wonderful Christmas around here. Blayne's folks came to visit. On Christmas Eve we went to the candlelight service at the church and then went to the Parrishes for fun and games. Here's Cecily and Eric enjoying some dinner (aka little smokies and chips and dip ;0)
Here's a sweet shot of Jen with Erin. After Erin went down to sleep in a pack and play we played loaded questions-which was hilarious fun.
Here's Kathy, Jen, Natalie and Cecily - Natalie just had a new baby boy - Everett Reece Mash - he's a cutie! We're anxious to visit more with them, but Erin's had her first ear infection, but more on that later. It is always so wonderful to be with our dear family and friends at the holidays! On Christmas morning thanks to Erin we were up at seven. While we got cinnamon rolls cooking everyone got moving and ready for Erin to open her gifts. While she has now been enjoying her gifts for a while on Christmas morning she was mostly interested in the bags and chewing on the gift tags.
This is her in her stack of gifts (she's not going to spoiled at Christmas at all ;0)
After the gift opening (its a take turns - one at a time deal around here) we went over to the Farnsworths for a waffle brunch. Here's Erin and Blayne playing at their house.
After waffles we gathered round the piano for singing. We sang from silly (I'm gettin' nuthin' for Christmas) to sacred and had a ball.
We had folks over that evening for a big Christmas dinner. Here's Jen, Melody, Blayne, Eric, Chuck and Cheryl.
And here's Cheryl, Amy and Christina. Somehow Kathy and I didn't make the pictures at the dinner table, but we really were there :0)
Here's Mom and Dad enjoying Christmas dinner in the Chastain uniform. We gave them Columbia fleeces a few Christmases ago and they gave them to us this year-so we were all going around the house in matching gear.
After Christmas we headed to Atmore to be with my family. Here's Erin playing with her cousins Mae and Bennett. She had lots of fun sharing with them. So much so that she got sick on our return home and so did they. :0) It was so much fun to have them all together as Erin is getting more mobile. And my sister just found out the little one she's expecting in June is a girl too! So Erin will have a girl cousin 9 months older and 15 months younger. How fun!
Here's Bennett, Chris holding Mae and Wilson at Felix's Fish Camp on the Mobile Bay where we met my Aunt and Uncle for a lovely lunch overlooking the water.
I am terrible at pictures at my parent's house because I know I'll eventually get copies of everyone else's and Red takes LOTS of great pictures-so I really slack off, but here's one more of everyone (except me since I'm taking the picture) at the Fish House. That's Aunt Jerre, Red, Carol holding a camera shy Mae, Daddy, Blayne, Uncle Tommy, Momma holding Erin, David holding Wilson, Bennett and Chris. One big happy silly wild family :)
I hope this finds you all well. I know that was ALOT of pictures. All the best to all of you! Lots of love from us here CO.
